Elizabeth Medina, V1
about the project
A single Talavera ceramic tile inspired the handmade sunny background which we then used to create a new frame for the logo and sprinkled on details throughout the site.
Choosing a new gallery is easy with a sliding menu that hides when you don’t need it; illuminating Elizabeth’s stunning photographs that make you dream of exotic faraway places.
Supplemental pages allow her images to take center stage with translucent off-center boxes that frame important information.
Update: Check out Elizabeth’s new site!

Deb was a dream to collaborate with! Not only is she an extremely gifted designer and an organized project manager but also an attentive listener. Deb seemed to not only “get it” but be able to go a step beyond expectations. Based in Mexico, our destination wedding photography studio serves clients from all over the world so it was important that the newest version of our website allow us to elegantly share our portfolio and as well as speaking authentically of the studio’s style, attitude and attention to detail. Believing as we do that the magic is in the details a cookie cutter website just wasn’t an option! Deb listened to rambling ideas that would have had lesser designer’s eyes glassing over (Mexican folk art and the very non-web friendly color light yellow anyone?) and was inspired to creatively hand draw unique and subtle design elements that expressed the studio’s identity beautifully.
